For many years, Gonzalo Dorta has been has been actively involved in improving the judiciary and the legal process, and is today, one of the longest serving members of Florida's Judicial Nominating Commission for State Courts in Miami-Dade County, which he has chaired, and is also a former member of Florida's Federal Judicial Nomination Commission. Gonzalo has been a Guest Speaker at several bar associations on the topic of appointment of judges. The firm is proud that Gonzalo has been nominated for the past ten years as one of South Florida's elite trial attorneys. As part of his continuing goal to improve the judicial process, Gonzalo served as Florida's designee at the Uniform Law Commissioners, comprised of designees from all 50 states to revise and recommend for uniform codification throughout the country laws in the areas of corporate formation, guardianship, child custody, and related legal issues. |
